I am an Associate Professor in the Philosophy Department at University of California, Berkeley, and affiliated with the Program in Critical Theory. I serve as Section Editor in Continental Philosophy for Philosophy Compass.
My research interests are in 19th and 20th century European philosophy, primarily Hegel & German Idealism, and additionally Nietzsche, Critical Theory, and feminist philosophy. My teaching interests also include “Existentialism in Literature and Film”. I am generally interested in literature and film.
